Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2026 ยท Effective Date: October 1, 2026

โ— OUR PLEDGE ON CLIENT SOURCE CODE:

Your source code, proprietary algorithms, and application architecture are treated as strict commercial trade secrets. JSP The Tech Life never sells, licenses, exposes, or uses your source code to train public artificial intelligence models. Uploaded ZIP archives are used solely to conduct the technical diagnostic inspection and implement requested fixes.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary information required to operate our studio services, user authentication, and code audit workflows:

  • Account Credentials: Full name, verified email address, cryptographically hashed passwords (never stored in plain text), and optional profile avatars.
  • Code Audit Archives: Project source code archive files (.zip), project names, and developer notes submitted for review by codehelp@jspthetechlife.com.
  • Beta Testing Pool & Friends/Family Nominations: When you join our expanding testing pool or invite colleagues, friends, and family to test your software, we collect participant names, email addresses, target operating systems (iOS / Android), and device models. For friend/family nominations, third-party emails are held temporarily solely to transmit an opt-in verification request. Unconfirmed or declined nominations are permanently purgeable.
  • Product & Service Reviews: Review ratings, written experiences, and designated "issue dealt with" tags submitted for community feedback.
  • Device & Telemetry Data: System color-scheme preferences (light/dark mode), browser headers, and session tokens necessary to prevent cross-site scripting and unauthorized account access.

2. How We Store and Protect Your Data

All account data, session records, and storage assets are maintained on secure, modern edge infrastructure:

  • Database & Edge Security: User records and audit logs are managed with industry-standard relational database architectures featuring encrypted connection pools and role-based access control.
  • Encrypted Object Storage: Uploaded source code archives are isolated in private, encrypted cloud storage buckets with strict access policies limited to authorized studio engineers.
  • Zero Plain-text Storage: User authentication utilizes salted cryptographic hashes (SHA-256) through the native Web Crypto API.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted, industry-leading infrastructure providers to deliver our services:

  • Stripe: Payment processing for prepaid code reviews and sprint packages. We never receive or store full credit card numbers or financial credentials on our servers.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: High-performance edge hosting, DDoS mitigation, and encrypted object storage.

4. Data Retention & Permanent Deletion Rights (Right to be Forgotten)

You have the absolute right to request access to your personal data, request corrections, or demand the complete, permanent deletion of your account and records from our systems:

  • Instant Self-Service Tester Deletion: Any member or nominee in our beta testing network can permanently purge their email address, name, and device details from our database at any time using our self-service deletion tool at /beta-testing#opt-out. This action removes your data immediately with zero wait time.
  • Account & Code Audit Purge: To initiate full client account deletion or source code archive deletion, email us from your registered account address to:support@jspthetechlife.com. Requests are confirmed and executed within three (3) business days.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser LocalStorage and essential session tokens solely for authentication persistence, maintaining your logged-in session, and honoring your operating system's theme preference. We do not use intrusive third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing data to data brokers.
